(Once again, apologies for the belated ness. Last week was too busy by half for me.)

Last week, NBC announced SVU being renewed for a 14th season. In addition, the network has picked up a new series from Wolf Films, "Chicago Fire." As always, details are within the link below.

Link: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118053718

Meanwhile, it has been revealed, today, the series will be bumped back to 9:00 PM EST, in order to make room for "Fire." The ATLAO blogmistress posted the new schedule (and a fuller "Fire" synopsis), via her "I Like To Watch TV" blog:

Lastly, Mariska Hargitay renewed her contract with NBC, last month, so there is that bit of good news for SVU fans:

NBC is currently doing their TV Upfront event, this week, so expect further information in the near-future about the schedule and the rest. In the meantime, I'll post about "Awake"'s fate as a separate entry. Watch out for that, next.

As per the subject line, TV Line.com is reporting, today, that Dean Winters will be reprising his Brian Cassidy role in SVU's 13th season finale. Similarly, Peter Jacobson and Brooke Smith will be returning after years away from the "Law & Order" franchise. (For those needing a reminder, both actors have played semi-recurring Mothership defense attorneys, though not in this upcoming instance. Moreover, Winters already re-appeared as a CI one-shot character, five years ago.) As always, beware of mini-spoilers within the link. Special thanks to the ATLAO blog.

Once again, apologies for the belated ness and the overall absence. Between Holy Week and several offsite issues to contend with, it hasn't been easy mustering the time and/or energy to post as much as I would like. Putting excuses aside for a moment, next week should be quite absorbing for you Greylek-era fans. Another pleasant side note is today's Greylek triple header (which I had forgotten about until today, naturally). Speaking of which, the reminder of this week is included, since I obviously didn't post them beforehand. See you all whenever. Schedule courtesy of IMDB. All times EST.

Fri. Apr. 20th:
5:00 PM USA - Persona #10.8
6:00 PM USA - PTSD #10.9
7:00 PM USA - Smut #10.10

This week's video is the "Street Revenge" promo. In addition, to make up for my previous omission, I'll include the "Valentine's Day" promo. Special thanks to the ATLAO blog.

Apparently, Martha Stewart will be in a SVU episode, next month. Hardcore "Law & Order" franchise fans ought to recall the Mothership's "B*tch," which jabbed on Stewart and her stock market scandal, 9 or so years ago. (The episode reruns on TNT frequently, if anyone wishes to do some pre-viewing homework.) Details are within the link, etc.
